Idea Generation
In our VoC research, one of the most common difficulties that our Clients using our KnowWhere Campus Safety System had was understanding how to actually set up a security team that could effectively use the System as opposed to just one individual. This led to the idea concept of developing a platform that would guide a school through creating an internal safety team.

Idea Screening
I conducted interviews of over 25 schools and 10 experts for creating a platform that would guide a school through developing a safety team. This lead to the discovery that there was a huge gap in the market for any technology that assisted schools with any of their daily security operations.

Concept Development and Testing
Using our research, I developed the concept for a platform that would comprehensively address every daily operation that a school is responsible for maintaining when it comes to security- in addition to all of the tasks they need to complete in order to be compliant with State and Federal regulations.

Market Strategy and Business Analysis
I developed the general scope of the project and ran a quantitative study of over 1,000 schools (10% of the market) to determine market validation and product fit.

Product Development
I led our Software Engineers, using Agile and Scrum methodologies, to develop the KnowWhat Platform.

Market Testing
Once we had completed developing our MVP, we onboarded key Beta users and got their feedback on use and value.

Market Entry/ Commercialization
We launched the product through a series of direct and indirect marketing campaigns, webinars, and social media advertisements procuring our first 250 users over 2 months.
